Sorry that Caitlyn and I haven't been blogging as much as usual lately. So, to make it up to you, I am writing a SPECIAL blog entry. (Even though every blog entry is special...............)LIES! SHE FLIES! WHERE WILLS HE STRIKE? WHERE WILL SHE STRIKE NEXT? WHERE WILL SHE STRIIIIIIKE NEEEEEEEEEEEEXT? Oh what a celebrationwe'll have today! THANK GOODNESS!

Well, last week I was watching GLee and Kurt (the best TV character ever) missed the High F when singing "Defying Gravity" from Wicked. It depressed me so! (Not as depressing as the book Marley & Me, and if you've only seen Marley & Me the movie, then you have no clue how much sadder the book is, even though the book is more innapropiate, but I just skip those parts....) PURE WATER CAN MELT HER! PLEASE SOMEBODY GO AND MELT HER! No, I couldn't be happier. Tho it is I admit the tiniest bit unlike I anticipated. But I coudn't be happier. Simply couldn't be happier. Well, not simple. LOST. THERE ARE BIRDGES YOU CROSS YOU DIDN'T KNOW YOU CROSSED UNTIL YOU CROSSED!  And if that thrill doesn't thrill like you think it will, STILL. With this perfect Finale, the cheers in the bally-hoo! WHO couldn't happier. HAPPY IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR DREAMS COOOOME TRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUE! THEY COULDN'T BE GOODLIER! THANK GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODNESS! TODAAAAAAAY! THANK GOODNESS FOR TODAY!

Those were some lyrics from "Thank Goodness," my favorite Wicked Song.

votemichaelformaniac Posted by votemichaelformaniac at 07:45 PM on October 21, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Attention VMFMERS! I have a VERY important announcement. This blog entry has to do with your...

SAFETY!

That's right! You are not safe from a new illness that only VMFM can cure. It's the worse illness out there...

I'm-bored-out-of-my-mind-itis!

Yes! VMFM can now cure I'm-bored-out-of-my-mind-itis! How? Because we're the most non-boring (and chimpanzee friendly) webshow out there. So yes. And, we clean floors better than mops...and even

SWIFFER WET-JETS!

And the truth comes out!

THE BIGGEST DAY IN VMFM HISTORY!

votemichaelformaniac Posted by votemichaelformaniac at 01:51 PM on May 02, 2009 Comments comments (1)

"That's huge."

Paris Hilton made a saying a fewmonths previous. It was "that's huge" or simply "huge". At the time, Ithought it was the stupidest saying in the world. It was. It still is.But no, I know she must be describing one event in particular.

August 9th.

AugustNinth is the BIGGEST (or in this case, Hugest) EVENT TO EVER OCCUR INVOTE MICHAEL FOR MANIAC HISTORY! On August 9th, it will be exactly 365days since Michael the Maniac and his trusty sidekick Caitlyn theCandidate fell onto the Internet. Let me tell you what has happened.

We(Caitlyn, Emily, Ashley, and I) had been planning VMFM for maybe a yearbefore this sight was released on August Ninth, 2008. The first VMFM toever be made was the one and only: Tippity Tappity. Sadly, this videonever aired, but I assure you we are planning a remake. Anyways, it wasnot long after Christmas in 2007. I had gotten a digital camera, andshowed Caitlyn and Ashley. We instantly started taping.

Wedecided to make a website, and brainstormed multiple titles. Soon, Icame up with the title Vote Michael for Maniac (which suprises me tothis day, because I stink at making titles.) We all thought it was alittle to long, so Caitlyn shortened it to VMFM. We liked the ring tothat.

One hour later, Michael the Maniac emerged, although hewas much different than the Michael the Maniac you all know and lovetoday. This maniac was completely a maniac, who chased people aroundthe house with chairs.

On August Ninth, Caitlyn and Isearched Google for "websites to make free websites". Not long after,we found a site called Freewebs, after trying multiple free websitemakers. Freewebs was different than the rest of the websites. It letyou make a professional, and colorful  website...for free. Emily andAshley, however, made their own website, Awkward Emu. After sometechnical difficulties, Awkward Emu crashed and burned. I re made it,but pretended like I was a hacker and hacked into the site. It is stillunder construction. But, since they left VMFM for AE, Caitlyn and Iwere CEO's of the VMFM website. Ashley was still a part of VMFM, butEmily left. She is in a few web casts, though. We are working on a fewweb series's that have her in it, but it's hard to have too manypeople, because to have 6 people who are all in the mood for tapingwebisodes is very hard.

Not long after that, I got a proffesional Digital Camcorder. It was dark blue, and taped the instant classic, The Winner Takes It All (Maniacal Version).Sadly, it broke after I forgot to charge it for a few months. So, I hadno means of taping any webisodes. But all that changed when I told momI wanted a web cam for my birthday. This was about half a year afterVMFM was released on the web.

Mom thought that ifI got a web cam, so should Caitlyn, so we could do web chat and stufflike that. (I still have not set up web chat, though). So, we both hada web cam. The problem was fixed.

After spreading the word, our website got to where it is today.

And don't forget to come here on August Ninth!

Michael's Boom Review #`1

votemichaelformaniac Posted by votemichaelformaniac at 08:46 PM on April 11, 2009 Comments comments (1)

Hola! This is Michael the Maniac here, giving my first BOOK REVIEW! I'm only on page 142 out of 394, but so far it's a very good book.

It's Science Fiction, and I got it at the Yale Bookstore (Fun Fact! Yale is my dream college. Yeah, I know it's pretty ridiculous to have a dream college when you're as yound as I am!) and I saw this book. I was reading Marley: A Dog Like No Other (FYI, the adult version Marley & Me is 10 times better, but 7 times more innapropaite) when this book caught my eye, because it was the thickest one next to a set of picture books, and the spine was a bright, neon green cover. I picked it up and the read the description.

Okay, I'll put you out of your misery and tell you what the book is called. It's called Science Fair! and it's a Disney book. (But, not one of those cheesy Dreams Come True! Disney books, it's one of their better ones.) In the beginning, a group of rich kids is making fun of a boy, and then they hear about the Science Fair, where the First Place prize is (wait for it, wait for it, drum rool. bumamamalabumalamummmmmmmm) Five grand! Yep, that's right $5,000 dollars! But, the main character (Toby) sold one of his parents Star Wars props to a pshycopath who thinks he's Darth Vader (yep, that's right DARTH VADER) to buy a gaming computer, and now Darth Vader wants more. But then Toby discovers a plot to bring down the United States governement, that involves the group of snotty rich kids winning the Science Fair. So now he has to get rid of a pshycopath maniac Star Wars freak AND save the country from a massive terrorist attack. Whoa. That's a lot to do in one month! Oh yeah, and he gets suspened from school, and he can't participate in the Scince Fair. PLUS he's grounded, so he can't do any poking around out of school, either.

Whenever I read (or start to read) a REALLY good book, I'll suggest it here. Maybe Caitlyn will, too. Do YOU have a really awesome book you want to talk about? Post a blog entry called something like "Tomato's Book review #1" or "The City of Ember book review by Kian". Be creative. Or, you could talk about a book that's really bad. Who says book reviews have to be nice?

This book review was made possible by Mom letting me get the book and me wanting to tell people about the book and the people who made the book and the people who lety the people make the book and all the other people who made it possible.

Top Chef

Hello, Michael the Maniac here with the scoop on the best reality TV show about food. Top Chef. Well, I HATE Stephan, so I'm really depressed that he's moving onto the Final Four. I really want Hosea to win, but in order for him to win, he has to knock Stephan out out of the way. Well, Leah got out. Not Steohan. Boo hoo.

Planet Earth

votemichaelformaniac Posted by votemichaelformaniac at 07:27 PM on February 11, 2009 Comments comments (0)

I'm scared! Some ad just told me 18 people want to go out with me, and then they showed pictures of 40 year olds! Well, it's just an ad. No need to be creeped. I'm feeling super happy! Today, I just finsihed Ultrakey, the thing we use to touch type in our school. I got SIXTY WPM! That means I typed ONE WORD PER SECOND! I'm SO physched, but, it was only the home row so...yeah. Not so amazing. Anyways, I'm feeling good because we also watched Planet Earth TW(O DAYS IN A ROW! I watched a polar bear, a caribou being eaten by a wolf, a strange tropical bird, African wild dogs, elephants, shraks, seals, and much more! It was really interesting. We watched disk one, Pole to Pole. So, if you own it, you can see what I saw.

30 Rock "New York In the Spring"

votemichaelformaniac Posted by votemichaelformaniac at 10:20 AM on February 07, 2009 Comments comments (3)

Liz Lemon was dating this guy named Floyd. He asked her if she wanted to live in NY, NY all her life. She said yeah. Then, they showed an old lady strutting down the streets saying: "Oh, there's nothing like New York in the spring!" Then, someone bumped her into a garbage can.

Home Sick :(/Lit Circle

votemichaelformaniac Posted by votemichaelformaniac at 07:09 AM on February 05, 2009 Comments comments (1)

Hello there. I'm Michael the Maniac(Candidate) and I'm here...sick. Being sick really stinks, you know? And now I have to miss my Literature Circle Group Meeting. At least now I know that I can find out what happens next in my Lit Book, The City of Ember. It's a really good book. I would Lina's job as that person who delivers messages to other people cruel and boring. One: I hate to run. Two: Along the way, I might have to scrub old people's feet. Not really. But who wants to carry one message to the next person their ENTIRE LIFE! I mean, REALLY! It's the WORST JOB EVER! I would rather have Doon's job as Pipeworks Laborer! Also, I cannot believe that Lina lost Poppy! I'm so glad that Doon found her, but I'm so mad she ripped up the instructions! That would be the answer to all their problems! Now, the City of Ember is going to crash and burn all because of a stupid two year old. Why did Lina get all excited about two colored pencils? I mean, really1 And, FIVE BUCKS PER PENCIL IS CRAZY! I mean, really! Your jackets cost SEVEN BUCKS! AND YOUR COLORED PENCILS COST FIVE? THAT'S ONLY TWO DOLLARS LITTLER! AHHHHHHHHHHH! Thank you for reading this online Lit Disscussion! Lol,

Michael the Maniac (Candidate)
